Cancellation policy

We don’t want you to miss out!

We want to ensure you get the most out of your membership or class pack.

That’s why it’s really important that you know our cancellation policy, so you never have to miss out on a class.

If you need to cancel

It’s easy to update your class bookings

No problems, life happens.

24 hours notice of cancellation is required for all classes and appointments.

Notice of less than 24 hours notice will incur full payment of the session fee do not offer refunds for missed classes.

To cancel a class booking or waitlist you will need to unreserve the class on Glofox. This is by far the quickest and easiest way to cancel

Cancelling less than 24 hours before class

That’s OK too. If you can’t join us even within the 24-hour cancellation window, we’d really (really) appreciate you still cancelling out of the class, so another client can join in.

* Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur the full cost of the classes booked.

PLEASE NOTE: Private sessions - It may be possible to transfer the session to another individual after the 24-hour notice period has passed. This is subject to agreement by the teacher and all appropriate health forms having been completed.

If we cancel your class

On the rare occasion that we have to cancel classes and close the Studio due to weather/natural events, such as excessive heat or hazardous snow, we cannot offer refunds.

We will do our best to accommodate you in another class, but this will be your responsibility to arrange either (through Glofox or with our help) and will be subject to availability.

Lateness

  • If the client is late for a session the session will not be extended and will end at the appointed time.

  • If the teacher is late, additional time will be added to the session or to subsequent sessions.

MONTHLY MEMBERSHIPS

If you wish to end or amend your membership 28 days' notice must be given via Glofox or in writing or email to us.

If you become sick long term or need an operation your membership may be frozen for an agreed period of time under these circumstances. We cannot guarantee space in your regular class when you return.

CLASS PACKS

We cannot offer refunds for unused classes within a pack or for classes not taken before the expiry date.

Classes not taken before the pack expires cannot be exchanged, refunded or carried forward.

How Our Membership Payments Work

We run classes for 43 weeks out of the year. Instead of charging for each term separately, we spread the cost of your annual classes into 13 equal payments, billed every 4 weeks.

This means your payment stays the same throughout the year—even though we’re closed for holidays or breaks.

Because you’re billed consistently every 4 weeks, some payments fall during breaks, but over the course of the year, it balances out. You're only paying for the 43 weeks we’re actually open—the cost is just spread out evenly.

It’s a simpler, fairer way to handle payments, and it helps keep things easy for everyone.

EQ Pilates Membership Payment Structure

At EQ Pilates, we operate classes for 43 weeks each year, with scheduled breaks for holidays and maintenance. To provide a consistent and manageable payment plan, we distribute the total annual cost of your chosen membership evenly across 13 equal payments, billed every 4 weeks. This structure ensures that, while payments continue during scheduled breaks, you are only paying for the 43 weeks we're open.

Consistent Payments:

You pay £x every 4 weeks, totaling 13 payments annually.

Prorated Structure:

Although there are 52 weeks in a year, your membership covers 43 weeks of classes. The total cost is evenly distributed across all payments.

Scheduled Breaks:

Payments continue during scheduled breaks (e.g., holidays), but you're only paying for the 43 weeks we're open.

Note: Each "credit" corresponds to one class. The number of credits per 4-week period aligns with the number of classes included in your membership plan.
